About Camila

Camila is a Mexican-Canadian actress and comedian experienced in acting on set, motion capture, improv, ADR, combat for film, stand up, animated voice, accents, music and more.

She studied Acting in Casazul Performing Arts in Mexico City and graduated from George Brown College’s Acting for Media program in Toronto. She has trained in different studios such as the Anthony Meindl Actors Workshop and Lewis Baumander Acting Studio.

Some of Camila’s recent roles include Aline in Eli Roth's “A Ghost Ruined My Life” for Discovery Plus, Camilia in award winning director Charles Uwagbai's "Finding Odera", Leonora in "Por Las Que Ya No Tienen Voz" (where she was also credited as an Executive Producer), among others. She is currently represented by Oldfield Management in Canada and Latinvasion Agency in Mexico. 

In addition to acting, she is also experienced in video editing and photography. She became an Adobe Youth Voices ambassador when she was only sixteen. Ever since, she has participated in several global campaigns and collaborations with the Adobe community such as the Sundance Film Festival Ignite (2019), Project 1324, Behance, and Adobe X Malala (2016). Furthermore, in 2017 her photography skills led her to win the Tim Burton’s Expo creative contest, which displayed her work in the Franz Mayer Museum.
